Illustration - Gift for Dear Friends' Nursery, 2014
I made this to give to friends who are new parents. I'd scouted out their nursery ahead of time and took reference photos to make sure this fit with the decorations they'd already put up.
This is a piece I made on New Year's Day to celebrate the birth of some dear fiends' first child.
I had visited their home last year and saw the nursery preparations, and at that time serrupticiously took pictures of the wall decals so I could make something that matched later.
These friends also love giraffes and pandas, so I wanted to give them something special that reflected who they are and how happy their daughter makes us all.
